In case you haven't already figured out, all the Kunoichis are named after flower. For example:
Tsubaki: Camelia
Sazanka: Sasanqua
Asagao: Morning Glory
Rindou: Gentian
Mokuren: Lily Mongolia

And their team names are based on Chinese Zodiac, also featuring each trait

Ex :
- Dog is the most obedient and loyal, yet struggles to control inner desire (literally Tsubaki, Sazanka and Asagao all together, each with different desires)
- Monkey is the most pacifist (hence why the leader is a medic ninja)
- Boar is the strongest, if we only based on pure strength, but has no sense of direction

I think they are also named based on which team arrived first and to be followed next. Maybe.

Never heard from the real people but this is the second time I heard a character name Sasanka (Sasanqua) in anime. The first one was from Oresuki and she's best girl; at least for me :P
